“Big Kids For Christ”

(20’s to 40’s - but “any adult” can be a “Big Kid for Christ”)
Who are we???
This organization was formed to primarily provide Christian fellowship in the ‘young adult’ group. We are a diverse, mobile, often extremely busy group of younger, and we welcome older, single, married Christians who are young in mind, body and spirit that wish to join in fellowship and fun in the way of the Lord. We focus on who we are and how we can live our lives in service to God and the community.
Big Kids for Christ offers an opportunity for Christian social fellowship and faith growth through various activities…
- Bible Studies
- Worship Services
- Game Nights
- Sporting Events
- Community Outreach (prayer walks, Christmas caroling, etc.)
- Dining Out
‘Little Kids for Christ’ are also welcome in our group; many of our events can include the family. When we do have just ‘big kid’ events we are happy to provide free babysitting in order for you to participate.
Our group is entering its first year of completion. We are still in the planning stages, but we are excited about our future.

Mark your calendars for these upcoming events …
Sunday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m. – Our next Colossians in-home bible study. We are in need of a host for this event. Please contact Michele Stock (618/910-4081) if you would be interested in hosting or would like babysitting provided during the bible study. We ask that you bring a small snack to share with the group. The bible studies typically last no more than one hour and being a host requires little to no work. The bible study will take place on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
Sunday, November 15th at 12:00 noon – Rob and Michele Stock will be hosting a football party at their home (710 Wilson Avenue, Collinsville, IL 62234). Have no fear you do not need to be a St. Louis Rams fan to attend. The Rams will be playing the New Orleans Saints but there are sure to be other games some of us prefer to watch. We ask that you bring an appetizer or dish to share at the game. Please contact Michele Stock to let her know how many are attending.
Coming Soon …
It has become a BKFC tradition to go Christmas Caroling. We will once again take part in bringing holiday cheer to local residents of the nursing homes. We will provide more information in next month’s newsletter as well as the church bulletin. We enjoy a meal after the singing is finished. We invite your entire family to join us for this tradition.
As always, we are happy to provide babysitting free of charge to any of our events. We only ask that you give Michele Stock as much notice as possible to plan accordingly. If you have any questions about Big Kids for Christ do not hesitate to call one of us.
